Last poetry prompt of 2014

The new year is a time to celebrate new beginnings. It is time to celebrate having a clean slate. Anything is possible because the past doesn’t matter.

This poem is basically about the fun you have when it’s December because you’ll be freaking desperate to celebrate the new year; and also at the same time you’ll also enjoy Christmas. this poem is also a reminder of not to forget the happiness and the luck that stood by you in the whole year. it’s a poem which would be mostly enjoyed by kids:)

Happy New Year! 🙂

December is fading away
there’s a new year coming your way
all frustrations drowned
with the chill of cold air around
as the new year rises array
everybody say hip hip hurray!

Do you remember the things that made you laugh,
cry like a calf?
never forget the luck you had the whole year;
if you didn’t have any, don’t moan saying’ “oh dear”!
’cause there’s more to come in the new year!

There comes Santa with yummy goodies
for the sweet charming little buddies.
Goodbye is what is said to this year
expecting more to happen in the next year.
Have fun everyone! and
